 The Williamsburg County Disabilities and Special Needs Board is committed to employ, in its best judgement, the best qualified candidates for approved agency positions while engaging in recruitment and selection practices that are in compliance with all applicable employment laws. It is the policy of Williamsburg County Disabilities and Special Needs Board to provide equal employment for opportunity to all applicants and employees.

The Executive Director of designee must interview and approve all selected applicants prior to a contingent offer of employment being made. Human Resouces will provide a contingent offer of employment letter to all new employees verifying terms of employment.

Human Resource is responsible for the overall management of the recruitment and selection processes, including employment related agency relationships and the processing of new applicants, offers, and employees.

​

All official offers of employment must be issued in writing by the Director of Human Resources. No other employee, with the exception of the Executive Director is autorized to make offers of employment or salary commitments.

Open Positions

 Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Responsible for the care, well-being, and training for people with intellectual disabilities residing at a residential facility in Williamsburg County.  Must be punctual and dependable and have the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment. 


Hours: Part-Time/Full-Time shifts available: flexible to work any shift, including weekends.

Experience: Minimum 1-year in Human Services, CNA, or related field.

Education: High School Diploma and/or degree from an accredited post-secondary school.
